Position Summary
You will lead global medical affairs for oncology from Switzerland the long-term disease and medicine strategy for an asset (or key portfolio). You will design and deliver medical strategies, evidence generation and scientific engagement across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with R&D, commercial, regional medical teams and external partners to translate scientific insight into practical impact for patients. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead the development and implementation of global medical affairs plans and integrated evidence strategies across the oncology portfolio.
- Design and run advisory boards, scientific training, congress programmes and stakeholder engagement with clear medical objectives.
- Establish and manage trusted partnerships with academic centres, research networks, clinical experts, patient groups and payers.
- Translate external and internal insights into evidence generation plans that inform development, access and medical strategy.
- Ensure scientific quality, governance and compliance for global medical materials and external interactions.
- Collaborate with R&D, commercial, regional medical teams and access colleagues to align medical strategy with development and market needs.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or related field (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years' experience in medical affairs, clinical development or related roles within oncology.
- Proven experience designing and delivering global medical and evidence generation strategies.
- Strong track record of scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and academic partners.
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed and global teams.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to make complex science clear.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience in late-stage clinical development, phase IIIb/IV studies or real-world evidence programmes.
- Experience managing global congress strategy and scientific communications.
- Experience negotiating and managing external partnerships, budgets and vendors.
- Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance considerations across European markets.
- Experience mentoring or leading small teams and developing talent.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
